Our diversity shines brightest when we bring our full selves together as one community. BOOM is a moment where we can come together as one community to think deeply and collectively about how we engage with each other.

Exposing the Myth of Economic Diversity at America’s Top Colleges

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Five of the eight Ivy League schools have more students from the top 1 percent of the income scale than from the entire bottom 60 percent. This is a poster presentation that looks at how well or how poorly colleges - including MHC - have built an economically diverse student body. The presentation draws on a study in which researchers tracked about 30 million students by linking anonymized tax returns to attendance records from nearly every college in the country. Created by James Burke, Library and Information Technology Services (LITS).
