Kira worked as an editorial intern for Lilith Magazine, a New York-based quarterly magazine that is independent, Jewish, and frankly feminist. While editing and proofreading two upcoming issues of the magazine, Kira also assisted in the maintenance of the website and social media of the publication. She managed contacting major publishing companies about their upcoming books, coordinated interviews, and much more! The internship allowed her not only to hone her writing skills in a practical and new environment, but also encouraged quality work that looked toward a more progressive and just future for Jewish and non-Jewish voices alike.
